What is an OOPS INK. tattoo?

A semi-permanent, fashion-forward tattoo that applies like a sticker but develops into real-looking ink. Our designs develop and darken over 48–72 hours, last 7–15 days, and fade naturally as your skin regenerates — water-proof, sweat-proof, no peeling, no shiny sticker look.

Made with genipin, a vegan, skin-safe ingredient that reacts with your skin’s proteins to create that deep navy pigment.

What are OOPS INK. TATTOO MADE OF?

1. Semi Permanent Tattoo:

Our semi-permanent tattoos use genipin, a natural compound extracted from the Gardenia fruit.

When genipin meets the amino acids in your skin’s keratinocytes, it reacts and creates a gardenia blue pigment - that’s what gives your tattoo its navy-to-deep-blue finish.


2. Each order includes Primer Wipe(s):

Ingredients:

Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf extract, Polysorbate 20, Benzalkonium Chloride, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Citric Acid, 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropan-1,3-Diol, Ethylhexylglycerol, L-Menthol (natural), Methyl Lactate.

Caution:

Keep out of reach of children.For external use only. Not for broken skin. In case of eye contact, flush throughly with water.
IS IT SAFE?

Yes, OOPS INK. formula is designed to be gentle. If you have extremely sensitive skin or a known allergy, we recommend a small patch test before full application.

Our ingredients are cosmetic-grade and skin-safe, but every body is unique.

For kids under 6 or during pregnancy/breastfeeding, we recommend checking with a healthcare professional first.

Our tattoos pass testing of CE, MSDS, ASTM, EN71, ROHS, SVHC, 6P testing and so on, by SGS.
How long does it take to develop and how long do they last?

Your tattoo will look INVISIBLE at first.

Please allow 48 - 72 hours for it to fully develop, depending on your skin chemistry and placement.

For faster results, recommend warming up your body or taking a shower before application.

They last typically 7 - 15 days, depending on your unique skin chemistry, before/aftercare, placement, and daily activities.
Do OOPS INK. tattoos have an expiry date?

Approx. 12 months shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place when still in the package.

Unpackaged tattoos have an unknown shelf life, as this may vary depending on the temperature and humidity of the storage environment.

Direct sunlight, heat and humidity can shorten the lifespan and quality of unused tattoos.

APPLICATION & AFTERCARE
How to apply my tattoos?

PRE-APPLICATION:

  • Shave excess hair 12 - 24 hours prior.
  • Moisturise the skin 1 hour prior.
  • Warm up the body for faster ink pigmentation.

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Prep skin:

Clean the area with Primer Wipe for 30 seconds then wait for skin to dry.

2. Stick:

Peel off the clear film. Place the tattoo face down onto your skin.


3. Wet:

Wet the tattoo thoroughly with a wet cloth for 30 seconds, press firmly, DON’T MOVE IT, then peel off and air dry.


4. Wait:

It will first appear INVISIBLE. 

Wait up to 48 - 72hrs for it to fully develop to dark blue/black.
APPLIED, WHAT'S NEXT?
  • Wait at least 2 hours before touching water. Minimise contact, sunlight, NO RUBBING and avoid swimming until the tattoo is fully developed.

  • For the first 2 nights, cover the tattoo or wear loose, long clothing to prevent ink from TRANSFERRING onto other skin or clothes.

  • Apply a layer of vaseline or lip balm on the tattoo when its fully developed to make it last longer.

  • Minimise exposure to sauna, steam room, hot yoga or jacuzzi.

How do I remove a tattoo faster?

Exfoliate with a scrub, AHAs, or an oil-based cleanser.

Orders are processed within 1 - 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Can I cancel or change my order?

If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, simply use the chat bubble located at the bottom right corner of the website or email us at hi@oopsink.com.au ASAP and we’ll sort it out.

Note: Once it’s dispatched, we can’t make changes.
How can I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking link once your order ships.
What if my package is damaged, I ordered or I received the wrong item?
